THE STORY CONTINUES DOWNSTAIRS AFTER DARK

a hidden BAR BENEATH appalachia

The lights sit lower; the conversations get longer. The evening settles into its own rhythm.

Beneath Appalachia, Lowcountry offers another chapter. Not separate from the restaurant above, but an extension of the same spirit.

A place built around hospitality, storytelling and the simple pleasure of one more drink.

EVERY BAR HAS ITS OWN MYTHOLOGY.

A favourite seat. A regular order. A bottle opened for the right reason.

The stories that gather around a bar often become more important than the drinks themselves.

For co-founder Ryan Sheehan, Lowcountry is built from those moments.

Influenced by his upbringing in Savannah and a lifelong fascination with American drinking culture, the bar draws inspiration from memory rather than nostalgia.

Personal rather than performative.

WHAT WE'RE POURING

A Brown Butter Old Fashioned. A Banana Pudding Sazerac. A Kentucky 75. A Jam Sour shaped by the season.

Alongside a wide shelf of American whiskey, and a focus on creating a space that feels open and welcoming.

Some drinks tell their story immediately, others reveal themselves slowly. Others take a slightly different path.
